Amazing things have been happening in Lungi, Sierra Leone and G. Phillip May Ministries has been on the front line battling for miraculous transitions in the lives of many children. After Pastor Phil's recent trip to the orphanage in Lungi, it is noticeable that the work is proving fruitful, indeed. Pastor Jacob Gbateh is so thrilled and thankful to have the building and space to provide care for orphans and that's exactly what he has done for Haja Kamara.

Pastor Jacob ran into a group of devastated people to find this young girl crying over her lifeless mother. The woman had died earlier that day, and as Jacob walked to the child, she cried, "What am I going to do? This was my only mother and the one who helped me go to school!"

Jacob approached her closer and moved with compassion, he took her under his wing and told her he wanted to help. She has been excelling in class four. Haja comes from a Muslim background and has now accepted Christ and is part of the children's ministry, where she sings. Jacob foresees her to be a worship leader, as she is always calling children together to sing praise and worship songs.

My Sundays will be free to accept invitations to preach beginning in March 2011. Rev. George Mauk has agreed to preach on Sundays at the Veterans Home. This will give me the flexibility to preach in churches or share about the ministry in Sierra Leone. I would love to come to your church and share about the exciting things happening in Sierra Leone.

Your friend in Christ Jesus, Phil May
